Side engine FAAC 540 / 541 3PH drives industrial and garage sectional doors with vertical lift and medium work intensity – to 5 successive openings. FAAC540 / 541 3PH runs smoothly and has powerful torque, which drives large doors with an area of ​​up to 25 m². The engine is extremely compact. Its width is only 92 mm, which allows installation in hard-to-reach spaces. The operation of the reducer in the oil bath is ensured by a steel worm screw, connected by a bronze ring, enclosed in a solid cast aluminum body. It works seamlessly in different environments, even in dusty conditions, moisture and busy traffic. FAAC extension 540 is single-phase, to FAAC 541 3PH is triphasic. The gearbox is specially designed, so as to satisfy all opening and closing requirements in industrial and commercial environments.  

Healthy and safe

  The reduction group of the engine is in an oil bath, and the electronic headquarters FAAC 540 BPR is built into its housing. Electronics are self-learning, by supporting operation of protective photocells, Worning light, encoders and decoders, remote control, etc.. These components ensure safe operation of the sectional door. The motor has built-in limit switches, which ensure safe movement and smooth reaching of end positions. The system keeps the sectional door locked, without the need for additional locks and locks. The reliability of the FAAC540 axial motor / 541 3PH is also guaranteed by the option of mechanical emergency unlocking in the event of a power failure. In this way, the automatic garage door can be operated manually (using a chain mechanism for industrial sectional doors with a height of over 3 meter).  

Flexible and functional

  FAAC extension 540 / 541 3PH allows setting for automatic closing of the sectional door after a preset time. Control can be provided with a control panel with up and down buttons, stop and secret key for access control. Gearboxes are designed for side mounting with "direct" spring shaft drive or "indirect" chain drive. Indirect transmission increases the functionality of the automated system, as it enables installation even if the side space is not sufficient, or when the sectional door is very heavy. The frequency of use of the reducers is up to 40/60% (medium intensity), which means, that they can also be used for particularly heavy cycles.
