Excellent performance

  The overhead motor SOMMER BASE+ automatically drives sectional and swing garage doors of maximum size:

• SUMMER P 9080 BASE+: sectional – to 6000 x 2500 mm; balanced swing doors to 6000 x 2050 mm, weighing approx 160 kg.
• SUMMER P 9110 BASE+: sectional – to 8000 x 2500 mm; balanced swing doors to 8000 x 2050 mm, weighing approx 200 kg.

It features a state-of-the-art garage door control unit with a variety of speed options and the option of fine-tuning the workforce. It continuously learns itself and automatically optimizes the movement, to offer the best door performance and user comfort. This German automatic is so powerful, thanks to its ingenious technology. It is fixed at one point and travels at rest, taut chain. The motor applies optimal power and maximum safety at all times. Reliable pressure keeps the door tightly closed, preventing the entry of pests, dust, sheet, etc.. In economy mode, the operator has an energy consumption of less than 1W per year. In addition to saving money on electricity, this solution is also extremely ecological. Thanks to the two-way radio control system SOMloq2, the automation can be controlled via a radio transmitter. 128-Bit AES dynamic code encryption provides maximum data protection against hackers and possible remote copying for hacking purposes.  

Remote control or panel control

  Engine SOMMER S 9080 BASE+ / S 9110 BASE+ is controlled by remote control or via a button panel, mounted on the wall. The radio transmitter has a convenient design, ready to use, as it is factory preset. The radio receiver can store up to 40 remote, with an option for additional memory. The wall panel allows full control of the door: to turn the lights on and off, to stop movement in a certain position, to unlock and lock the ceiling motor. With the headquarters of SOMMER S 9080 BASE+ / S 9110 BASE+ can operate two garage doors, located in adjacent rooms or next to each other.  

Additional accessories

 

• humidity sensor – if it detects moisture in the room, raises the door a little for ventilation;
• additional memory – increases the number of remote from 40 to 450;
• electromagnetic lock – additional protection against burglary;
• alarm – generates a sound when attempting to gain unauthorized access to the garage or when contacting the door;
• laser parking marker – the final position of the room is indicated by a laser dot on the dashboard;
• emergency power – in the event of a power failure, the battery provides trouble-free automatic propulsion.

 

Smart features

  The system continuously monitors the pressure force, in accordance with the EN Directive 12453, through electronic engine monitoring. This control mechanism ensures maximum safety. When encountering an obstacle, the garage door automation returns the movement, thus protecting the mechanism from wear, and the objects – from injury and damage. Thanks to the built-in emergency release system, SOMMER BASE+ can be released and activated, regardless of what position the door is currently in. This makes it possible to open the garage even in the event of a power cut. LED lighting, built into the motor itself, is equipped with six individual LEDs, providing optimal lighting in the garage.
