SOMMER S ceiling 9080 THREE / Tiga+ for sectional doors

SUMMER P 9080 TIGA is a ceiling electric motor for sectional and swing balanced doors in underground garages. This garage operator is the next generation of motors after SOMMER developments – BASE and PRO. It is specially designed for underground parking lots, where the load is higher and there is a need for maximum security. What kind of garage doors is SOMMER S suitable for? 9080 THREE?

  SOMMER S ceiling 9080 TIGA operates various types of garage doors in underground garages. It is suitable for sectional doors with a maximum size of up to 6000 x 2500 mm and balanced swing doors (Up and over door) – sizes to 6000 x 2050 mm. The motor transmits the motion through a tightly tensioned chain. This way there is no friction, as with a rotating chain, therefore, there is no wear on the mechanism and no loss of power.  

Safe and reliable drive

  The German automation SOMMER TIGA has an anti-burglary system, which detects cases of unusual pressure and exerts additional locking force. The radio signal is encrypted two-way and cannot be intercepted by hackers, which means, that remotes cannot be copied by outsiders. Both directions of the signal give information about signals received at the same time, as well as the position of the door at the moment. Thanks to the built-in emergency release system, the SOMMER TIGA motor can be released and blocked again – in any door position. Thus it guarantees peace and security, even if the power supply fails. The remote control has factory settings – pre-programmed and ready to use. The control unit allows easy copying of an additional number of remotes. It stores up to 40 count, and with the addition of memory – to total 450 – for large residential complexes, hotels, warehouses, etc.  

Additional features and accessories

  The garage motor control unit is equipped with multiple outputs for direct connection of additional accessories, which increase the range of functions. The following capabilities can be added:

• humidity sensor – if it detects moisture in the room, raises the door a little, to ventilate;
• additional memory – increases the number of remote from 40 to 450;
• electromagnetic lock – additional protection against burglary;
• alarm – generates a sound when attempting to gain unauthorized access to the garage or when contacting the door;
• laser parking marker – the final position of the room is indicated by a laser dot on the dashboard;
• emergency power – in the event of a power failure, the battery provides trouble-free automatic propulsion;
• signaling – green or red traffic light, Worning light;
• photocells, infrared (thermal) sensor etc..

 

Energy-saving and ecological

  Besides the pleasure and comfort of using SOMMER S 9080 THREE / THREE+, this engine improves the standard of living also through its economical mode of operation. When in standby mode (/. does not move the door), it consumes less than 1W per year, making it energy efficient and eco-friendly. SOMMER TIGA does not need any maintenance. The chain, which transmits motion, is galvanized and does not lubricate.
